Motherhood has been the most profound teacher of my life. It’s where I’ve laughed, wept, healed and risen into a truer version of mySelf. As a Black Mother, I know the weight we carry — the exhaustion, the pressure, the isolation. But I also know that Motherhood is not meant to strip us down. It is divinely designed to lift us into our Highest Selves.

Through years of studying yoga, exploring spiritual traditions, and embodying sacred motherhood practices, I began to see Motherhood differently: not a something to survive or struggle through or even endure, but as a divine, joyful and transformative journey. An initiation. A call to embody our wholeness. A place where we restore our energy, reclaim our power and remember that we are never alone.

That’s why I created AnuraMama — a sanctuary for Black and Brown Mothers to be seen, supported and celebrated. Here, through embodied practices, holistic birth support and mindful mothering tools, you’ll find the nourishment your body, Spirit and Motherhood deserve.

Because you were never meant to Mother from depletion or fear. You were meant to Mother from sacred connection, radiant confidence, and abundant joy.
